This is a review of the Family Plan.
Everything comes in a large box.
It’s all packed in an insulated bag with ice packs on the bottom. The meat it between layers of ice packs. The ice packs are still frozen & the meat comes very cold.
Our first meal choice was Swiss Cheeseburgers on English Muffins with Rosemary Potato Wedges. Here’s everything I need to make them. Step by step directions come on the back of the card.
Prep was pretty easy. Slice the potato wedges, shallot, & de stem the rosemary.
Add some oil, rosemary, salt & pepper, and toss and bake!
While to potatoes cooked I made the burgers. I just added the burger spice packet.
And formed patties.
While the burgers cooked I made the burger sauce. The Big Mac special sauce. =)
And got everything ready to finish off the burgers.
And ta da! This meal was a hit with everyone. The potato wedges were amazing! So simple but so good. The burger was good too.
Our second meal choice was Gnocchi Caprese with Garlic Toast & Butter Lettuce Salad.
I prepped everything ahead of time.
I put the potato gnocchi in to boil & started the sauce. You actually make the sauce from scratch. It’s so simple. Oil, then garlic, then tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and salt & pepper. Let it simmer. That’s it.
Then I prepared the bread and put it in the oven. Brush with Butter and garlic and bake.
When the gnocchi is done you mix it with the sauce and mozzarella cheese balls. Some of it melts and makes this nice thick delicious sauce. You also add the fresh basil just before you mix.
Mix the salad. I did add more vegetables to our salad. They provided the cucumber & parmesan cheese. They also said to add the red wine vinegar to the rest of the Italian seasoning and make a vinaigrette. But we just used our dressings of choice.
And here it is! This was another hit. The sauce was so simple and good. I’ll definitely be making this sauce for other Italian meals.
We loved both meals! The Value is $8.74 per plate. I think that’s a great price. Everything always comes fresh. I love the step by step directions. It really helps when your making something new. And these are recipes that can be used over and over. I save all my recipe cards! Like I’ve said before, I absolutely feel spoiled. Everything is perfectly portioned with all my spices and herbs all ready for me.
