This is a review of the Family Plan.
Everything comes in a large box.
Everything comes in an insulated bag with ice packs on the bottom. The ice packs are still frozen and everything is cold.
My first meal choice is Chicken Khao Soi with Crispy Wonton Noodles.
The step by step directions. I did everything as instructed. Very simple & easy to do.
The first step was making the Crispy Wonton Noodles. I’m so glad I learned how to make these. It’s just cooking some of the wonton noodles in oil. They fluff up & get crispy.
And prep! Everything else, other than the crispy noodles and scallions, goes into making the soup.
Cook the chicken with oil, salt & pepper. And put the rest of the noodles in to boil.
And add everything else to the chicken. This is the soup that goes over the noodles.
And here it is! Pour the soup over the noodles, top with crispy noodles & scallions. It was very good. Lots of flavor. And 4 large bowls of it!
Second meal choice. Pork chops with Spring Vegetable Hash & Homemade Ranch Dressing.
The direction for this meal. They make it pretty easy to follow.
Prep! I cooked up the potatoes and blanced the peas as part of my prep. This was a simple meal.
Cooked the pork chops in oil, salt, and pepper.
The hash is just cooking up the potatoes, vegetables, & garlic together for a few minutes. And done! I forgot to add a picture of the ranch dressing. It was just mixing the Greek yogurt with the ranch spice blend. It was so good! I dipped everything in it. =)
I’m very impressed with Blue Apron again. Everything comes fresh and ripe. The directions are really easy to follow too. I always feel spoiled. They are like my personal shoppers. And I don’t think $69 for all this food is high either. I’ve gone to my local Nugget and bought one whole meal, cereal, & bread and it cost me over $100. I only know because I usually buy multiple meals and don’t usually know the cost breakdown. And I still love that I don’t have to buy individual spices and such because It’s perfectly portioned!
