It comes in a big box with large ice packs!

And an insulated bag!

image

A big box of food! Everything was cold. The ice packs were still completely frozen.

My first meal I picked. Za’atar Spiced Chicken. (Not spicy). Everything I need to make the Spiced Chicken, Roasted Cauliflower, Tzatziki, and Tabblouleh.

image

Here’s the step by step directions. Very easy to follow.

image

Chicken was easy. Add some Za’atar spice and cook. I added a bit too much. Most of it cooked off through. =)

image

Cooked chicken.

image

Roasting the Cauliflower was simple. Drilled in olive oil & sprinkled with the Za’atar Spices. Bake and it’s done!

image

The bulgur was simple. Boil for 10-12 minutes, drain. Cook the spinach for 2 minutes add the cooked bulger, olive oil, & leamon. And done.

While things cooked I made the Tabblouleh. A sauce to go with the chicken. Grated the cucumber. Chopped the garlic. Also used the juice from lemon. And mixed with the yogurt. It has a taste similar to ranch but not quite.

And here it is! I loved the Tabblouleh! It was so good. I dipped everything in it. =)

Our second meal. Creamy Pasta Primavera. Everything I need to make it. Even butter!

image

Here’s the step by step directions. Super simple meal. Mostly prep.

image

Everything prepped! I did cook the spinach, asparagus & mushrooms for a couple minutes each. I prepped everything while the pasta cooked.

image

Then just mix it all together. The sauce is the yogurt, lemon, butter, reserved pasta water, & Salt & pepper. It said to divide into bowls and top with cheese. But this is how we do pasta! This was delicious. And there was so much! Even left overs.

I’m very impressed with Blue Apron. Everything was fresh and ripe. The directions are really easy to follow too. I felt spoiled! It was like someone went shopping for me and got my directions all ready for me! I don’t think $69 for all this food is high either. I’ve gone to my local Nugget and bought one whole meal, cereal, & bread and it cost me over $100. I only know because I usually buy multiple meals and don’t usually know the cost breakdown. And I like that I didn’t have to buy individual spices for one meal, a whole thing of cheese, a whole carton of mushroom, etc.. It’s perfectly portioned!

If you want to be spoiled as well try them out with the 2 meals free! Use this LINK for the deal!
