Living Abroad in Japan by Ruth Kanagy. Value $14.99. This book is super informative. Details only someone who was there would know. Lots of insight into the culture.

Japanese Wind Chime. Value $7. These cast-iron wind chimes are something very special, hung indoors near a window or outside from the eaves, as it is often done in Japan. They are known as furins. Each furin comes with a strong piece of paper that hangs elegantly downwards. This helps to catch the wind and give off its beautiful chime.

Total Value $57.39. Cost of the box $49.99. Not a huge value but you definitely get your money’s worth. I liked all the items and they all fit the theme perfectly. I’ll keep my eye out and I think I’ll stick with the out of country boxes. I missed Australia last month & I’m kinda bummed. Next up is The Rocky Mountains for May!
